Dubai Metro Pillar Murals Collaboration
SAN Projects produced the beautiful murals on the pillars of the Dubai Metro, brought to life by international artists Daniel Cortez from Peru and Elio Mercado (Evoca1) from the Dominican Republic, based in Miami. I was honored to be part of this inspiring project and work alongside such talented and genuinely kind individuals. This collaboration was a true highlight and a celebration of public art in the heart of Dubai.

Art that connects the city — murals that inspire the world.

One of the most iconic murals under the Dubai Metro showcases a dreamlike underwater scene, where a giant whale floats above a child reaching for the moon with a balloon. This surreal artwork transforms the urban infrastructure into a poetic visual story, blending imagination and nature. Part of a larger collaboration between SAN Projects, international artists Daniel Cortez and Elio Mercado (Evoca1), and myself, this mural is a tribute to creativity and teamwork in the heart of Dubai.

I'm proud to have been part of the incredible project by SAN Projects, creating large-scale murals on the iconic pillars supporting the Dubai Metro. Working alongside two world-class artists — Daniel Cortez from Peru and Elio Mercado (aka Evoca1) from the Dominican Republic — was an unforgettable experience. Their talent, vision, and energy inspired me deeply, and it was an honor to collaborate with such amazing people and artists.
